Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the concept of symbiotic insurance through the organizing foundations for it, in addition to highlighting the most important differences between symbiotic and traditional insurance.

We also seek through this study to identify the status of symbiotic insurance within the insurance system in Algeria and the requirements for its advancement.

The study concluded that the basis of the Takaful insurance is based on cooperation and donation, as the legal challenge is the most important obstacle to the growth and development of the Takaful insurance industry in Algeria, but the serious trend towards adopting Islamic banking in Algeria imposes dependence Takaful insurance industry on a larger scale.
