The study aims to identify the most important support mechanisms to activate the tourism/environment combination for a sustainable ecotourism in Algeria.

Basing on the UAE experience in the transition towards ecotourism, especially on its green hotels.

Besides, getting lessens that Algeria can learned from.

The results of the study indicate that Algeria has the elements that qualify it to be an excellent tourism attracter.

Moreover, sustainable ecotourism can be achieved by activating the elements of the balanced combination.

That links tourism to environmental protection and must be part of the state's overall sustainable development plan.
