Muhammad-Mumen Shirazi al-Jazaeri, an Iranian twelfth century ah writer, owes his fame to his Maqamat.

in this paper, using the structuralist approach, we study the writing style of his only published Maqama, al-Maqama al-Ghamaria, based on stylistic levels.

we concluded that assonance, alliteration, paradox, repetition and homophones are the most significant components of the phonetic level; on the semantic level, several words including Talbaq, and Eghdaq were used in broken plural.

on a syntactic level, phrasal verbs implying continuity, modernity and occurrence outnumbered nominal sentences implying stability.

on the lexical level, coordination was found among the words in each semantic field.

the rhetorical level was represented by several figures of speech, such as simile, metaphor, and metonymy.

intertextuality was demonstrated through Quranic and poetic examples.
