Abstract EN

The reasons for studying the subject of investment in technology, is to target the transformation of the results of scientific research, innovations and inventions from the theoretical to the applied economic, and the transfer of technology from countries with technological progress to the developing countries, by benefiting from the patent licensing, and ensuring the protection of intellectual property associated with it.

In addition, the need to enhance the capabilities of developing countries is importante for their participation in international trade, by facilitating access to technology and generalizing its use in all economic sectors.

Algeria target to value the development of technology, raise economic growth, and build a diversified economy that values the country's human, scientific and natural capabilities.

This article attempts to answer the basis of increasing the interest of the Algerian legislator, through Law 22-18 on investment, in investing in technology, and the importance of protecting intellectual property rights associated with technological investments to attract foreign investments, and transfer technology locally to serve the national economy.
