The public rental housing is one of the most important housing formulas in force today in Algeria, which the public authorities aimed at providing a decent living framework for low-income population groups.

However, what is remarkable about this housing formula is its transformation into a source of permanent tension and severe crisis experienced by the sector since the beginning of its work, through the problems arising from housing distribution operations and speculation in it later, as will be explained with us in more detail within the papers of this article
