the Algerian travel discourse has recently witnessed a significant popularity, taking advantage of the spread of newspapers and journals to carry on in the continuation of various models of this discourse.

On a march of about a century, the Algerian cultural scholars gave a variety of trips of various shapes, styles and topics in various directions (within the country and outside).

It is unfortunate that the discourse of Algerian literary criticism did not keep up with this output, nor did it even attempt to reveal the accomplishment that the predecessors have left in the drafts of newspapers and journals, and covered a time span that exceeded the half century.

Through this, criticism seemed below canons in recognizing the field, nor did it receive research and analysis.
