Abstract EN

The study is based on achieving the main target, namely: to identify the contemporary features of the institutional strategic planning ideology in translating Islamic heritage.

from this objective, a set of objectives are branched which are as follows: a statement of the feature (forward-looking of the future) in the institutional strategic planning ideology in translating Islamic heritage and identifying the feature of (indicating the message) of institutional strategic planning ideology in translating Islamic heritage and a statement of the features (setting objectives) in the institutional strategic planning ideology in translating Islamic heritage and revealing the features of (setting priorities) that the ideology of institutional strategic planning in translating Islamic heritage” and a statement of the features (group work) in the manner of institutional strategic planning ideology in translating islamic heritage.

among the most prominent results that the study has reached: one of the most important contemporary features of the institutional strategic planning ideology in translating Islamic heritage is the feature of looking forward to the future.

whereby, this feature studies the factors, phenomena, and variables in all aspects and prepares an organized plan helps the institution avoid surprises and lets the planner looks at all aspects without exception until having a future perspective.

further, this feature is directed to the future without neglecting the past and reality.

hence, this leads to avoiding past mistakes and managing the future ideally.

moreover, this feature focuses on the interpretation and understanding of internal and external environment variables.

similarly, this feature enables the knowledge of the resources and their optimal exploitation, and the resources vary among financial, material, human, and information resources.

likewise, the forward-looking feature of institutional strategic planning in translating the Islamic heritage is based on formulating a vision for the institution, and this vision must be featured by several criteria, including proceeding from the foresight and determining the general aspect of the institution, not to be imaginary, to be characterized with simplicity and clarity, that it includes indications that the institution seeks to achieve it in the future, and that the employees of the institution participate in its development and discussion.

among the recommendations suggested by the study: is that universities take the initiative to hold international conferences in the field of Islamic heritage translation, with the importance of focusing in the conference themes on obstacles to translating Islamic heritage and using technology in the field of Islamic heritage translation, addressing the development of institutional strategic plans in this field, and addressing the implications of institutional strategic planning in translating the Islamic heritage on contemporary issues.
