Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the efforts of the Algerian Accountability Council in the field of improving its oversight performance within the framework of adopting the ISSAI standards, by reviewing the legal and regulatory framework for this constitutional body, while addressing the judicial and administrative powers of the latter in the supervisory field.

And then defining the role of the ISSAI standards in the field of enhancing the work of the Supreme Audit Institutions, and with the aim of determining the extent of the application of the latter by the Algerian Accountability Council, we address the efforts of the latter in the field of improving supervisory performance in light of the adoption of ISSAI standards through international cooperation on the one hand, and training on the one hand.
