This research studies the legislative bases of the commitment to after-sales service.

It aims to introduce the after-sales service and its importance, and to consolidate the texts and laws establishing this service in the Algerian legislation.

It also aims to distinguish the types of guarantee in this service, and to determine the commitments that the seller must comply with after the sale.

One of the most important results of the research is that after-sales service greatly serves the interests of the consumer, guarantees the integrity of the sale from defects, and covers maintenance and repair costs.

In addition, The Algerian legislator has been interested in organizing this service and clarifying its conditions and method its performance in many laws and decrees that dealt with each of the aspects of its competence
