The study aimed to find out the statistically significant effect of social intelligence as a modified variable in the relationship between social responsibility and marital compatibility in a sample of wives in the new valley governorate, and to what extent social intelligence, responsibility and marital compatibility vary by different residence variables (countryside-city), the number of years of marriage and scientific qualification (low-medium-high) and interaction between them.
