Abstract EN

Many countries over the world, especially the developing countries, including Egypt, seek to reduce unemployment in order to achieve the eighth objective of the united nations sustainable development goals (SDGS), which aim to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and to achieve full employment by providing decent work.

entrepreneurship is considered one of the main key drivers for sustainable development and economic growth so it has a vital role in the economies of many countries over the world.

entrepreneurship education is considered the essential mechanism of transforming towards entrepreneurship, as it provides youth with necessary skills and creative capabilities to build their personality, attitudes and vision, which helps them to establish entrepreneurial projects that enable to create jobs and reduce the unemployment rate in Egypt.

therefore, the research aims to study the theoretical and conceptual framework of both sustainable development and entrepreneurship education.

also ; it aims to analyze the current status of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education in Egypt.

finally, it concluded with formulating a proposed vision for developing higher education towards entrepreneurship education in the light of the dimensions of sustainable development.

to achieve these previous goals, the research used the descriptive approach.
