Abstract EN

The current research aimed to verify the psychometric properties of the eight achievement goals orientations scale among faculty of education students at Qena.

the sample of the study consisted of 280 male and female students from the third year of general education for the academic year (2021-2022),with an average age of (21,43) year, and a standard deviation of (4.466).and the validity of the scale was verified through the validity of the exploratory factor analysis, which revealed the presence of 8 dimensions, and the stability of the scale was verified by calculating the Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the dimensions of the scale, and the split-half method (Gitman's), and the value of Cronbach's alpha for dimension of self potential avoidance goals was (904.), and its value for dimension of self past approach goals was (893), and it amounted to (660).
