Abstract EN

Sources are considered as an indispensable tool for History students and researchers, for there is no history without resources.

The lost Paradise (Grenada) in the hands of the Christians represents the core of this paper that aims to define the sources which set the historical scene for such an event either by Western, Andalusian or Eastern writers in between the late ninth Hijri century (15 AD) till the Eleventh Hijri century (17AD).

One of the prominent ones is “An Overview of the Era/Nabthat AL Asr” by an unknown writer and Al Hijri's Book “Nacer Al din” in addition to Al Makri's “Perfume Whiff and Paradise Flowers/Nahful Tib wa Azhar Alriyadh”, “AlWansharissi's Fatwas/Fatawa Alwansharissi” and “The Brief Talk/Wajiz Alkalam” by Alsakhawi…etc.

The Paper will deal with these resources and others by giving backgrounds of their writers, their content and explaining how they handled such events and followed up with facts making them gems not only mere books in Aldalusian studies.
