The city of the EL-Menea after World War II knew a political struggle represented in the emergence of the national movement from 1945 until 1954, and was represented in the activity of the reformist trend represented by the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars, and the independence trend represented by the “Victory Movement Party for Democratic Freedoms, and helped the existence of this struggle in general Among the factors, such as the political awareness that the city's residents knew and which contributed to its creation by conscious personalities such as the student Sheikh Hama Belhadj and Bouamama Boukhasba, using means that had great credit for reviving this struggle, including: Arab education and popular poetry at the level of Markets and weddings, and from it we will study the subject through the available sources, especially oral written accounts, national newspapers, and personal diaries.
