What has actually attracted the attention of scholars and researchers, in the past and in the present time, is the method of argumentation in the holy Qur’an.

it is noticeable that not all of those working in this issue belong to one field.

rather, they included interpreters, rhetoricians, scholars of theology...

and many others.

it is actually crucial to define the general framework of this paper and ask as many questions as we can to precisely tackle it : how did the Arabic rhetoric put the argumentation on the focus? what are the themes or rhetorical topics that dealt with that? how did the Qur’an interpreters dealt with the verses of the argumentation in the holy Quran? how do the modern scholars view it? who are the most important Arab researchers who had their applications of the theory of argumentation on the holy Quran? what is the unprecedented view they added?
