The legal and forensic language requires a particular attention from researchers in different scientific and literary fields, due to its inter textual precepts to be accorded to every specialist in his domain contributing to its development and controlling its scientific rules towards finding an effective way to solve judicial cases in which language is an active party and a present evidence.

accordingly, in this context, we present in our intervention an analytical reading in the book “judicial linguistics” by John Olson, in which we trying to reveal the most important methods of forensic linguistic research, as well as to clarify the role of linguistics ; such as phonetics, dialectology, stylistics and pragmatics in this field.
