Abstract EN

The administrations of the institutions have become attaching great importance to the human element by searching for the factors affecting the productivity and efficiency of the workers, as officials seek to bring the workers to the maximum possible efficiency.

so this study aims to know the role of promotion, whether through efficiency or through seniority in improving the performance of workers in sports institutions.

we used the descriptive approach because it is appropriate for the study, the sample was chosen in an intentional way, and it was 23 employees.

as for the statistical tools, we used the X² test and percentage, and the results of the study were as follows : the promotion has a role in raising the performance of workers in sports institutions, given the importance of material and moral incentives and their impact on the behavior and stability of employees, and both promotion by seniority or through efficiency are important in improving performance within these institutions.
