Scientific production is a source of development and progress of knowledge.

it is considered as an index of scientific research and an essential criterion for the classification of universities.

this study aims to study the impact of positions of responsibility on the scientific production of the researcher, to do this, we analyzed the empirical data with the help of the SPSS software based on the choice of the natural distribution and the test by Wilkokson.

at the end of our analysis, we came to the conclusion that the positions have a minimal impact on scientific production.

however, for structural positions, their impact is clear, whereas pedagogical positions have no impact on the scientific production of the research professor.
