in the Arabic poetry, and proverbs as well, there are collocations such as : Jamil Buthaina, Qais Laila, Hatimatai, Shan and Tabaq etc.

this paper focuses on the word (few), its number and collocations in the Quran, before and after it, as well as on the way in which collocation occurs.

the paper also demonstrates the meanings and purpose behind these collocations.

among the purposes of knowing collocations is to improve one’s ability to speak and write in a good style.
