Abstract EN

This article presents a study on the symbolic aspect, in the poems of member of the sheikhs poets of the association of Muslims Algerians scholars, Ahmed Sahnoun : where he discusses the symbolism of a form of nature, it is the "sea", with which poets and artists were fascinated by it, so they comprehended it their poetry, description and representation, it also deals with the semantic manifestations of the symbol, of the sea and its variations in the poems of the sheikh, with illumination on the resulting effect on the level of poetic cadence and technical structure.

the article begins with a theoretical research, looking at the idiomatic concept of the symbol, then its types and its effect on the poem, with a focus on the natural symbol and the sea symbol in particular, the applied study deals with the variations of the sea symbol in Ahmed Sahnoun's poetry collection, relying on the thematic approach, its verbal frequency and semantic diversity, before the end of the study conclusion with the most important results, and observations and a list of approved sources, and references.
