This research aims to establish argumentation cognitive, as a new theory, which aims to study how the mind processes discourse production and assimilation, and to indicate the course of the persuasion process.

it is the process that leads to changing the cognitive environment of the audience, and the modification of his behavior.

in its results, the research aspires to build a new theory in argumentation on two stages : the stage of inferential manifestation, which is the stage that the speaker accomplishes and shows a set of facts and assumptions in order to change the cognitive environment of the listener, and the stage of understanding and comprehension, which is the stage accomplished by the the auditor, to reach at the end of it a kind of change in his cognitive environment.
