إن قانون العمل بما يتضمنه من نصوص و ما يتميز به من خصائص في مجال الوقاية الصحية، و على وجه الخصوص تعرضها للأمراض المعدية و إجراءات الوقاية منها.
كما أخضعت تلك النصوص مهمة الرقابة على تطبيقها إلى مفتش العمل مانحة إياه صلاحيات واسعة من أجل مواجهة أي خطر يعترض صحة العامل.
