Abstract EN

This research aims to clarify the role of the National Civil Society Observatory, after its inclusion in the advisory bodies of the President of the Republic through the constitutional amendment of 2020, and its role in promoting civil society through its composition of national competencies in order to develop the system of rights and freedoms, in addition to the challenges that face it, such as restoring trust between civil society and state institutions in order to consolidate participatory democracy.

through addressing the research, a number of results were reached, the most prominent of which is that the observatory is not considered a popular parliament in the face of the state, but rather represents a framework for dialogue, consultation and proposal that allows strengthening national unity in the existing of stakes and challenges through periodic follow-up to the performance of civil society through its various local and national formations and groups.

Programs that enhance the role of civil society and make it a partner in social and economic development.
