Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the extent of the use of information technology in the Iraqi banking sector, and to indicate the extent of the management's ability to form and deepen the creative behavior of workers in the Iraqi banking sector, and to explore the relationship between the use of information technology and administrative creativity in the Iraqi banking sector.

to achieve the purposes of the study, a questionnaire was distributed to a sample of bank employees (general manager, deputy general manager, department manager, department head, employees at different administrative and technical levels).

after analyzing the questionnaires through the statistical program (SPSS), the study reached many results, including : banks operating in Iraq use information technology.

the results of the tests demonstrated a positive and statistically significant relationship between the use of information technology and administrative creativity, and the study recommended working to create a cultural and organizational environment that encourages the application of information and communication technology and dependence on it, and motivating creative workers morally and materially, and urging other workers to follow their example.
