Abstract EN

This study aimed to shed light on the phenomenon of the informal economy in terms of the causes and features that distinguish it, the implications of it, and the proposed solutions to mitigate its severity by focusing on the case of Algeria, and from the results reached, we mention the following : -unfair tax systems push individuals and institutions to search for ways to evade paying taxes ; -the large gap between the outputs of educational institutions and their inputs (ie job opportunities and demand) ; -the inability of the state to provide jobs for its young applicants.
