Abstract EN

The research aims to study the contribution of the practices of information systems security governance to reduce the cyber-attacks in these institutions or organizations.

to address this issue, we relied on the deductive approach to reach the general principles of information security and governance.

as for the method used to gather information for analysis, it was qualitative.

we have also adopted a set of tools that combine the various references and modern sources that serve the subject of the research, relying on the latest information and statistics on the issue of security and information systems in the institutions.

the study concluded that the security of the information systems in any institution is always subject to electronic attacks, according to the sensitivity and privacy that characterize it, which made the institution today-looking at the nature and in addition to the use of technical solutions-to use various international references that limit these cyber-attacks.
