This paper aimed to provide readers, researchers and those who are interested in English Language, with a range of important information regarding the impact of the invention of printing on the development, improvement, spread of the English language and the changes happened within the English language.

exposure to previous studies that concerned with the relationship between the changes in English language and the invention of printing is an aspect of this paper.

the printing press had a tremendous impact on many aspects of social life in Britain ; the philosophers, theologians, scientists, poets and authors were able to publish their views, theories, philosophy and ideas when they began to publish their works which became available for reading among the public.
