Abstract EN

This study sought to find out the problems that the Libyan media women work in media institutions, whether they are social, economic, or professional problems, and the importance of this study comes to identify the nature of media work for Libyan women, and what was provided and presented by the work and orders in building media institutions.

this study is considered to be a Libyan study Hadith in the field of media research, among the most important questions of the study : what are the motives for Libyan women working in media institutions ? what are the problems that you face during the work environment of these institutions ? this study is one of descriptive studies, as it relied on the survey method (social survey), and that was through the questionnaire newspaper that was designed for this study where the study community is from all the media workers working in the media institutions in the city of Tobruk, where it adopted the choice of the intentional sample method “intentionally” according to the nature of the research so that this choice achieves the desired study goals, and among the most important results of the study : there are many motivations that prompted the media to work in this profession, most notably : self-realization, securing distinctive relationships in society, and reaching a position Prestigious social, and also do not want to leave the work even if they do not find appreciation from the institution for their professional competence, most of the respondents feel the presence of favoritism and prejudice for men more than women in work while, most of the respondents feel the appreciation of the community for being media, and there are no social obstacles represented in customs and traditions.
