Déséquilibres socio-spatiaux en Algérie : recensement 2008

Abstract EN

Algeria is known by its history and geography which constitute a strongly heterogeneous country.

For this reason, we undertake a study of the socio-spatial disparities in this country.

Our methodological reflexion shows that a successful study of the disparities requires reliable statistical data, relevant indicators for the studied zone as well as a diversification of the branches of indicators in order to obtain a reliable picture of the reality.

L’Algérie est caractérisée par des inégalités régionales très profondes, qui se manifestent par l’existence d’un gradient de décroissance nord/sud et ouest/est.

L’objet de cette étude qui est basée sur l’analyse spatiale associant l’approche statistique et cartographique à partir d’indicateurs, est d’analyser ces disparités, de voir la manière dont elles se combinent spatialement ainsi que leur rapport avec le milieu physique et les différentes interventions de développement
