This Research Seeks To Shed Light On The Issue Of (Commitment) In Modern Arabic Poetry, Which Is One Of The Literary Issues That Open To Researchers Many Avenues Of Discussion, About The Interactive Relationship Between Literature And Reality.

As Well As Being One Of The Most Prominent Features Of Artistic Honesty And Realistic Literature, It Is A Form Of Response To The Issue Of (Art For Art), Which Seeks To Rid Literature Of The Inevitability Of Utilitarian And Moral Values.

This Research Takes The Poetry Of The Iraqi Scholar (Muhammad Bahja Al, Athari) As A Model For Studying This Issue, And He Is One Of The Most Prominent Figures Of The Arab Statement In The Modern Era, Because Of His Valuable Contributions And Great Works In The Service Of The Arabic Language And Its Literature.

Rooted In The Issues Of His Arab Nation, Which Represented The Most Discussed Topic In His Poetry.

The Nature Of The Research Required That It Consist Of An Introduction, A Preface, Two Chapters, A Conclusion, And Two Indexes, One For Sources And References, And The Other For Topics.

As For The Preamble, It Talks About The Concept Of The Term Commitment And Its History, In Addition To The Definition Of The Poet.

The First Topic Came Under The Title: (Objective Features), In Which We Dealt With Three Elements: (The Islamic Spirit), (The Issues Of The Homeland) And (The Issues Of The Nation).

As For The Second Topic, It Is Entitled: (Technical Features), In Which We Talked About Three Elements: (The Linguistic Structure), (The Pictorial Structure) And (The Musical Structure).

Then Comes The Conclusion And The Most Important Results Of The Search.
