Abstract EN

The research deals with the subject of the immortality of the soul and the position of some philosophers throughout the different philosophical eras of the Greek, Christian and Islamic eras, with the aim of identifying the views of these philosophers and standing on their position on the issue of the immortality of the soul by presenting the evidence and proofs for each sect.

to it during the preparation of this research the first topic is to stand on the definition of the soul as a language and idiom by many linguists and philosophers in different eras the second topic dealt with the views of Socrates and Plato and we found that both of them acknowledge the immortality of the soul and do not deny it the third topic presented opinions in it.
