Abstract EN

This research aims to address the categorical lexical defects that were unique to Sa`id al-Baghdadi, and they constitute a prominent phenomenon in his heritage.

It is a set of peremptory misses, whether they are words or meanings, which have missed the dictionaries of ancient Arabic terms, and were mentioned by Ascension within his explanation of the poetry of a poet from the ages of protest, or a text of the linguistic in the time of eloquence.

The peremptory lapses in the legacy of As'ad al-Baghdadi varied between verbal and semantic lapses.

As for the missing words: it is that the word is in an ancient text at the time of eloquence, and dictionaries have neglected to mention it.

And as for the semantic lapses: it is an indication, from which dictionaries are devoid of the term used with other connotations.

Based on this, this research came in an introduction, a preface, two chapters, a conclusion, and a list of sources and references.

One of his most important results was to arrive at a rising word with a number of missing words, and missing meaning in his heritage, some of which were used in heritage books.
