The research aims to identify the extent of the spread of the promotion of counterfeit medicines and their adverse effects on patients and the problem it represents with its health and social risks, and the research presents the shortcomings in the field of the pharmaceutical industry as one of the social and economic pillars to achieve social safety, the spread of counterfeit medicines is a disaster that threatens the health of individuals, and it has become a phenomenon that spreads between some pharmacies and social networking pages with destructive profit goals, even they have become sold on sidewalks and by bag dealers despite laws that criminalize any health-related defect, the repercussions of counterfeit medicines include the presence of untreated diseases, death, and premature, failure of treatment, may lead to complications up to death the loss of confidence in the health care system, and the research community is determined (in the martyrs area) in Ismailia governorate, and the sample (mayor) of pharmacists and pharmacy pioneers was relied on, and the sample size of the questionnaire applied to them was determined by (165) single, using the sample social survey, and the research relied on two data collection tools (the questionnaire-the results of the research concluded that most of the pharmacy pioneers do not have enough experience to know about counterfeit medicines, and they cannot distinguish between the original and counterfeit medicine with the expansion using modern technology in counterfeiting, and the success of counterfeiters master the cheating process of the original pharmaceutical product and masterfully imitate it.
