The research aims to shed light on the creativity of our great writer "Youssef Idris".

and that was by shedding light on language as a means of expression for Youssef Idris, where she started by talking about the importance of language for literary work, and then presented the most prominent characteristics of linguistic expression in the novel and story works of Youssef Idris.

as for the approach that the researcher relied on, it is the technical approach to study these characteristics and to achieve the objectives of the study, the research was divided into three sections and a conclusion.

the following is a summary of the broad outlines of this study: the first topic was entitled language in the novels of Yusef Idris, the second topic came the language in the short story of Yusef Idris, and the third topic was entitled the use of classical and colloquial, and I ended the research with a conclusion in which I summarized the most important results and the most important recommendations that my study reached.
