The objective of the research is to study the trade war between the United States and China through bilateral customs tariffs between the two countries, as well as study the currency war between the Chinese yuan and the dollar and the affecting on foreign investments between the two countries.

The study found the escalation of trade tensions between China and the United States, which can apparently be attributed to the widening of the trade gap between the two countries and the increase in the trade deficit in favor of China, but it is a war to protect American commercial interests and American investments, as it is a war for economic hegemony.
