Abstract EN

Advocacy to Islam is one of the best rewarded actions and most honorable tasks.

It is the mission of the Prophets and Messengers, the message of preachers to Islam and reformers and the task assigned upon the Ummah of the seal of Prophets صلى الله عليه وسلم It is a big responsibility that only those characterized by wisdom and those who follow the path of the Prophet (r) and his companions can carry on.

Moreover, the universality of Islamic message requires organized plans, consolidated efforts, conscious wisdom and a serious study to the conditions of those who deliver it and those who receive it to make this religion reaching out to people’s minds and hearts.

Through its analytical approach, this study discusses the philosophy and the foundations of ideal Da’wah discourse based on the approach adopted by the Prophet and his companions.

Therefore, the research aims at pinpointing these foundations and providing them to the preachers of Islam to help them fulfilling their duty in the best manner and crystal clarity.

The research aims also at developing a Da’wah discourse appropriate to our time and the challenges we are all facing; and to cut the road off before those who are unqualified to speak of Islam by preparing a qualified preacher of Islam who presents Islam in its pure essence as presented by the Prophet and his companions.

The research concludes that major responsibility in change, reform and renewing lies on the men of knowledge, preaching and education.

Muslim Scholars and preachers are the hope of our Ummah in face of the challenges and those who challenge Islam and Muslims in various fields “educational – cultural – social and others”.

Therefore, preachers of Islam, as discussed in the research, are required to obtain high levels of moral, scientific, cultural, and linguistic skills and qualifications.

They are also required to promote their knowledge and profoundly learn the philosophy of Da’wah discourse in well-known and specialized scientific institutions to be able to deliver their Da’wah discourse to people with no negligence or excess, build minds and do their mission properly.
