Abstract EN

The idea of the research, which is titled (From the eloquence of persuasion and pleasure in the message of preferring speech over silence for aljahiz (255Hijri() is to rhetorical study this thesis, and show the rhetorical techniques which has a persuasion and pleasure touch, The reasons why it was chosen is for the uniqueness and appealing style of the thesis, Which shows the writer striving to persuade, speak, entertain and provide proofs which makes his idea rise above his opponent idea.

This study comes in an Introduction, a preface and four researches: First research: The eloquence of persuasion and pleasure in arguments for preferring silence.

Second research: The eloquence of persuasion and pleasure in refutation of arguments preferred silence.

Third research: The eloquence of persuasion and pleasure in mentioning evidence preferring the speech over silence.

Fourth research: The eloquence of persuasion and pleasure in controlling who are able to express.

The followed method in the study is (descriptive analytical( and it divided the message to points and ideas, then analyze it rhetorically to show the value of rhetorical techniques in the persuasion and pleasure in the thesis ideas.

Which is one of the important results of it: the characterized text with the ease of pronunciation, clarity of meanings, correct compositions and the aljahiz success with his rhetorical colors (clear, meaningful, wonderful) in showing the importance of the pronunciation and draws the ears to his affective role in the human life.
