Abstract EN

The study aimed to examine the level of pre-service teachers’ possession of E-learning skills and the obstacles while using infographic technology in teaching students with intellectual disabilities.

in this descriptive analytical approach, the data were collected through a questionnaire administered to a 48 sample of field-training students majoring in mental disability at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic university.

the results indicated that the means of the concept of infographic technology as perceived by pre-service teachers specialized intellectual disability ranged between high and medium.

it was also shown that the pre-service teachers had a high level of possession of infographic skills.

in addition, there were statically significant differences attributed to the gender variable on the concept and possession of infographic skills in favor of male students.

furthermore, there were statistically significant no differences attributed to the method of technology acquirement.

finally, it was found that the obstacles of using infographic technology in teaching as a whole was moderate.

moreover, the researcher recommends to direct the interest of pre-service programs in employing infographic designs, converting educational materials into infographic texts and using them in the classroom.
