The current study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on cartoon films to develop some language skills through the dimensions of receptive language and expressive language among children with Down syndrome, and the study sample consisted of (10) children with Down syndrome, whose ages ranged between (4) - 6 years, they were randomly divided into two groups: an experimental group that includes (5) children with Down syndrome, and a control group that includes (5) children with Down syndrome who suffer from deficiencies in language skills in Mansoura.

The study tools included a language skills scale ( Prepared by the researcher), and the training program based on cartoon films to develop some language skills for children with Down syndrome (prepared by the researcher), and the researcher used the following statistical methods: Mann-Whitney test, Wilcoxon test for rank sign, and the effect size equation, and the results of the study found the effectiveness of the training program based on cartoon movies in developing some language skills among children with Down syndrome, the study sample.
