Abstract EN

This research dealt with a basic issue regarding scientific research, which is the effectiveness and role of culture (the culture of any society) in promoting scientific research, advancing it, or hindering it and limiting its value.

the subject of this research was presented in an introduction, two sections and results.

the first section dealt with the concept of culture and scientific culture and their relationship to scientific research through three demands.

while the second section dealt with scientific research and agreement with culture and orientation according to it through two demands.

in the results, the researcher concluded that there is a link between culture and scientific research at the concept level, and that scientific research is in agreement with the cultural environment of the scientific researcher, and therefore it is directed according to it, and accordingly the cultural environment is either an active positive factor in support of scientific research, or a negative and an obstacle to it, which shows the fact that scientific research is not only a theoretical method (the scientific method) that is applied according to precise steps (the stages of scientific research), as it is not a purely scientific subject, but rather a human activity that is affected (positively and negatively) by cultural factors that may be hidden despite the strength of their effectiveness .
