دور الوقف في نشوء بعض المدن في المناطق الألبانية خلال الحكم العثماني

Abstract EN

In the Balkans there are several cities connected in names with the waqf like Skender Vakuf anf Gornji Vakuf etc, which means that their establishing connected with creating a new urban core (Mosqe, medresa, hammam, han etc) by waqf, and so other cities which are connected with a such urban core created by one of the native waqifs , becoming later capitals of states such as Sarajevo (Bosna & Hercegovina) and Tirana(Albania).

In this context, the article aims to present the role of the waqf in establishing 6 new cites in Albania and Kosovo during the Ottoman period.
