Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى بيان أثر جائحة كورونا على الأمن الغذائي من وجهة نظر أرباب الأسر القاطنة في محافظة اربد في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية.

حيث تناولت الدراسة أثر الجائحة على دخل هذه الأسر وقدرتها على شراء غذائها وكذلك أسعار السلع الغذائية ومدى توفرها.

استخدمت الدراسة استبيان لجمع المعلومات والإجابة عن أسئلتها حيث تكونت عينة الدراسة من 387 رب أسرة.

استخدمت الدراسة الإحصاءات الوصفية ومعاملات الارتباط واختبار الدلالة لقياس أثر الجائحة على الأمن الغذائي في محافظة ANOVA الإحصائية للمتوسطات وتحليل التباين اربد.

أظهرت نتائج الدراسة بأن هناك أثر دال احصائيا وبمستوى عالٍ جدا لجائحة كورونا على دخل الأسر القاطنة في محافظة اربد وقدرتها على شراء غذائها من وجهة نظر أرباب هذه الأسر ، حيث قلَ الدخل وقَلت قدرة الأسر على شراء غذائها في ظل الجائحة.

كما أن هناك أثر دال احصائيا وبمستوى عالٍ لجائحة كورونا على أسعار السلع الغذائية ومدى توفرها من وجهة نظر أرباب هذه الأسر حيث ارتفعت أسعار السلع الغذائية وقلَ توفرها في ظل الجائحة.

كما توصلت الدراسة إلى أن هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لأثر جائحة كورونا على دخل الأسر القاطنة في محافظة اربد وقدرتها على شراء غذائها وأسعار السلع الغذائية ومدى توفرها تعزى لبعض العوامل الديمغرافية مثل العمر والجنس والمستوى التعليمي ومتوسط دخل الأسرة الشهري.

أوصت الدراسة بضرورة زيادة المخزون الاستراتيجي من الغذاء في الأردن وضرورة أن تمارس الدولة رقابة على أسعار السلع الغذائية وكذلك التأكيد على المسؤولية المجتمعية في دعم الأسر الفقيرة التي تعاني من انعدام الأمن الغذائي.

English Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of the Corona pandemic on food security from the point of view of heads of families residing in Irbid Governorate in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Where the study dealt with the impact of the pandemic on the income of these families and their ability to purchase their food, as well as the prices and availability of food commodities.

The study used a questionnaire to collect data and answer its questions.

The study sample consisted of 387 heads of families.

The study used descriptive statistics, correlation coefficients, statistical significance test for means and ANOVA to measure the impact of the pandemic on food security in Irbid Governorate.

The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant impact of a very high level of the Corona pandemic on the income of families residing in Irbid Governorate and their ability to purchase their food from the point of view of the heads of these families.

There was also a statistically significant and high level impact of the Corona pandemic on the prices of food commodities and their availability from the point of view of the heads of these families.

The study also found that there were statistically significant differences in the impact of the Corona pandemic on the income of families residing in Irbid Governorate, their ability to purchase their food, the prices of food commodities, and their availability due to some demographic factors such as age, gender, educational level and average monthly family income.

The study recommended the need to increase the strategic inventory of food in Jordan and the need for the government to exercise control over the prices of food commodities, as well as emphasizing social responsibility in supporting poor families who suffer from food insecurity.
