Abstract EN

The present research aims to study the efforts of ancient and contemporary scholars in the issue of miracles and composition.

i preferred that my study be in the search for the secret of the inimitability of the holy Qur’an and to follow the efforts of scholars in explaining the secret of its inimitability, and to identify the impact of the holy Qur’an on the emergence of rhetoric.

the research consists of an introduction and preface, three topics, and a conclusion, and is proven by bibliography.

the introduction included the importance of the topic, reasons for choosing it, research objectives, research methodology and proposal.

the preface investigated the definition of the inimitability (i'jaz), the most prominent aspects of the inimitability, and the efforts of the ancients in studying it.

the first topic discussed rhetorical studies in the light of the concept of composition before Abdul Qaher al-Jurjani.

the second topic discussed the composition from the viewpoint of Abdul Qaher al-Jurjani.

the third topic discussed the composition after Abdul Qaher al-Jurjani.

the research concluded with a conclusion in which the most important conclusions were noted, including : the inimitability (i'jaz) of the holy Quran is the guide for literary, critical and rhetorical studies in our Arab heritage throughout its prosperous eras.

the study also concluded that the studies of the contemporary scholars are an extension of the efforts of the ancient ones in reasoning and guidance, with an attempt to achieve the addition in terms of methodology and guidance, and with acknowledgment of the precedence of the predecessors.
