Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify how to apply e-governance in secondary education in Beheira governorate in the light of digital transformation, the study sample consisted of (76) principals and principals in secondary education schools in Beheira governorate, who were selected by the comprehensive survey method.

the researcher used the descriptive approach, and the study tool was represented by a questionnaire prepared by the researcher, in addition to personal interviews with a number of educational experts, specialists and education men to put the results in their hands, and to come up with the proposed scenario, the study reached the following most important results: - the focus of secondary school principals’ practice of e-governance in general secondary schools in light of digital transformation came with a relative weight of (66.6%), which is at a medium degree.

- the axis of "obstacles to applying e-governance in general secondary education" came in all its three dimensions (organizational obstacles, technical and human obstacles, and material obstacles) with a relative weight of (77.8%), which is at a high degree.

- (financial obstacles) ranked first among the obstacles to applying e-governance in the general secondary education stage, with a relative weight of (79.8%), which is at a high degree.

- (technical and human obstacles) ranked last among the obstacles to applying e-governance in the general secondary education stage, with a relative weight of (75.6%), which is at a high degree.

the study recommended the necessity of providing sufficient computers within secondary schools and providing them with a fast and continuous internet service, and the need to provide a technologically qualified educational cadre to engage in the application of e-governance within secondary schools, and work to provide budgets for the application of e-governance in secondary schools.
