Abstract EN

The research aims to study the relationship between government investment spending on economic infrastructure and economic growth in Egypt during the period 1991/1992-2019/2020, by testing the Keynes hypothesis, which indicates that increased government spending leads to increased economic growth.

To achieve this goal, the statistical method was used, which includes the standard method.

The research, through the use of the Angel and Granger test for causality, found a significant short-term and long-term causal relationship between government investment spending on economic infrastructure and economic growth in Egypt, which was expressed in GDP during the study period, and the relationship was in one direction of government spending.
