Abstract EN

The study aims to get acquainted with the public education system in Taif in the period between (1334-1343 AH / 1916-1924 AD), and to reach the educational goals that the government sought to achieve in terms of education, and to reveal its position towards women's education, and other highlights of the study.

The study is based on the historical, descriptive, and analytical method, and it reached conclusions; Among the most important : the goal of education is to educate and educate young people; To benefit from them in assuming administrative positions in the state, and that the government did not encourage women’s education, and government education in Taif did not have a scientific, urban, or industrial impact that would lead to the improvement of the city’s conditions.
