Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the methods and strategies used in the Palestinian society to reduce cybercrime in it, amid a special environment for the Palestinian society represented by the presence of the Israeli occupation, and the non-establishment of the Palestinian state, where several questions were developed related to the concept of cybercrime, its types and mechanisms to reduce it in the Palestinian society.

the study reached several results, the most important of which are: the absence of the application of the Palestinian legislation system due to the current Palestinian situation it is going through, whether through the state of division that disrupted the work of the Palestinian legislative council and its role in issuing laws on the one hand, and the political and social instability within the Palestinian environment on the other hand.

this study recommends holding elections in the Palestinian street with the aim of reviving the role and work of the Palestinian legislative council in enacting legislative laws related to cybercrime and reducing its spread and danger within society.

and allocating technical and applied university courses through which students are equipped with all the skills and technological tools to prevent the risks of cybercrime and its negative repercussions on society.
