This study is an attempt that allowed us to explain the effective role of the narrative voice in the clarification and functioning of the theme father/child relationship.

It allowed us to discover whether this paternal/filial relationship is characterized by communication and understanding or, conversely, it is characterized by rupture and conflict.

We examined the narrator's position in relation to the story that he narrated, and it was found that he is a narrator who is present within the story as a character.

From this point of view, we focused on analyzing the case of the first-person narrator who is part of the plot of the novel and highlighting its essentials functions.

We explained how this first-person narration deepens the theme in question.

We aim to demonstrate as much as possible how these narrative strategies contribute to the functioning of the theme.

We proceed to make a satisfactory analysis that allows us to highlight the characteristics and particularities of narrative writing of these writers.
