This research deals with the refutation, according to a scientific method based on comparison and analysis, of the charges that some art historians have attached to the Ottoman architecture, in which they claim that it is an exact copy of Byzantine architecture.

Therefore, it has no originality, as it was formed from several different styles and without any innovation or development that distinguishes it, and depends only on the frequent use of the elements of domes and vaults to a great extent, so that they increased the work of multiple spaces to be covered with these two structural elements.
