Abstract EN

This research aims to study the the current Agricultural possession segments in Dakahlia governorate.

the study knowledge resulting from the economic effects of the possessory segments through the most important major grain crops (rice and wheat) according to segments, (less than an feddan, (acres or less than three), (three acres or less than five), (five acres and more) for the agricultural season 2020 / 2021.

the research relied on both descriptive and quantitative analysis methods, indicators of production and economic efficiency, estimation of correlation coefficients, calculating the share of the producer and intermediaries from the consumer's pound, and estimating marketing efficiency according to the four categories.

the research also relied on the primary data derived from a questionnaire containing the data necessary to achieve the objectives of the study for a stratified random sample of 200 views collected from farmers in Dakahlia governorate for the wheat and rice crops for the agricultural season 2020 / 2021.

the results showed that the tenure structure in Dakahlia governorate was characterized by its fragmentation and the narrowness of its agricultural capacity, inconsistent with the advantages of the economies of scale.

the fourth holding category of wheat and rice achieved the highest average productivity compared to the first, second and third holding categories.

the significant difference in feddan productivity between the other four holding classes of the two crops of these two crops was demonstrated separately at the probability level of 0.01 Which illustrates the impact of the fragmentation of agricultural land tenure on the feddan productivity of the different tenure categories.
